Officer’s found no sign of shots fired. Investigators tell Your Tri-Cities News Source the couple in question says they had a verbal argument.

No Charges Filed In Damascus Domestic Disturbance
Washington County Sheriff’s Office reports all officers have cleared the scene at 6:56 a.m.
They originally were answering a shots fired call at 5:40 a.m. in the 21,000 block of Lyers Lane in Damascuss, Virginia. Officer’s found no sign of shots fired.
The “shots fired” soon turned to a domestic violence investigation.
Investigators tell Your Tri-Cities News Source the couple in question says they had a verbal argument. Officers found no signs of assault.
So far, no arrests have been made in the case.

Sheriffs said the call came in around 5:40 a.m.
They responded to the 21-thousand block of Lyers Lane, a private drive just off McCann Road near the intersection of Highway 91 and Highway 58.
Sheriffs initially described the incident as a “shots fired” call. They have since amended that statement. They say a domestic violence investigation is underway. Officers are still on scene, they said.
