Rape allegations landed a county employee behind bars.

The Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office arrested Steve Slaughter late this afternoon.

Deputies took Slaughter into custody at the Sullivan County Highway Department.  That’s where he works.

Investigators charged Slaughter with 4 counts of rape of a child.
His bond was set at $140,000.

Sheriff’s office officials said the alleged rapes took place over a two year period.

A press release from investigators said the female victim is now 7 years old.

Should be, but won’t be.  You get more time for breaking and entering.

If this snake is in fact guilty, he should be boiled alive.

I sincerely hope the allegations are not true. Steve’s dad has had enough traumatic incidents over the years. From the time his oldest son was killed in front of their house by a school bus to his first wife dying suddenly of cancer, he does not need this in his life. I pray for the Slaughter family and for this little girl’s family. May God sort out the truth.
