Carter Co. Meth Busts Indict 20

An investigation into a methamphetamine trafficking organization is nearing completion as The Carter County Sheriff’s Office recently indicted twenty additional drug traffickers on state charges. These arrests are related to an ongoing two year investigation which included assistance from federal and local authorities as well as The First Judicial Drug Task Force. 

Beginning late Friday night and on into the first of the week, The Carter County Sheriff’s Office began executing numerous arrest warrants charging many of the traffickers with methamphetamine related charges.

According to authorities, this is a second wave of charges related to the investigation that has resulted in more than 40 individuals being arrested.

Bobby Allmon, 24, of 1235 Bluefield Ave., Apt. B8, Elizabethton, TN – Sale of Schedule VI Drugs

David Bradshaw. 30, of 154 Spring Dr., Johnson City, TN - Promotion of Meth Manufacture (5 counts)

Amanda Edwards, 28, of 154 Spring Dr., Johnson City, TN – Promotion of Meth Manufacture (4 counts)

William Koeingof 292 Snyder Rd., Gray, TN – Promotion of Meth Manufacture – in WCDC

Joshua Metros, 31, of 360 Sneed Hill, 3C, Johnson City, TN – Possession Schedule II for resale

John Porter, 24, of 108 Gay Street, #202, Jonesborough, TN - Promotion of Meth Manufacture (3 counts)

Justin Radford, 24, of 283 Howard Hyder Rd., Johnson City, TN – Promotion of Meth Manufacture (17 counts)

Lewis Ruff, 76, of 327 South Lynn Ave. #1A, Elizabethton, TN – Sale of Schedule III

Jeff Sprague, 44, of 177 Rome Hollow Rd., Elizabethton, TN – Sale of Schedule II Drugs

Lisa Sprague, 48, of 177 Rome Hollow Rd., Elizabethton, TN – Sale of Schedule II Drugs (3counts), Sale of Counterfeit Substance

Dean Stewart, 25, of 140 Pritchard Dr., Jonesborough, TN - Promotion of Meth Manufacture (3 counts)

Amber Williams, 24, of 108 Gay St., #204, Jonesborough, TN – Promotion of Meth Manufacture (13 counts)

Joshua York (no photo available) of 184 Cedar Creek Rd., #3, Gray, TN - Promotion of Meth Manufacture-in WCDC

Debra Turner of 274 Chambers Hollow Dr., Elizabethton, TN – Sale of Schedule VI, Schedule III, Possession Schedule III for resale, Possession Schedule VI for resale, Possession Legend Drugs, Possession Legend Drugs, Possession Drug Paraphernalia. There is currently a summons issued in Turner’s name.

During the Investigation and execution of the arrest warrants, The Carter County Sheriffs Office also arrested the following individuals for the listed charges.  In addition, Deputies seized $3,446.00 in U.S. Currency, two vehicles, two handguns, approximately onehalf pound of marijuana and an assortment of illegal narcotics.

Amanda Edwards and David Bradshaw were also charged with Possession Schedule IV for resale, Possession Schedule III for resale (2 counts), Possession Schedule II for resale, Criminal Conspiracy

Bobby Allmon was also charged with Possession Schedule III for resale and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Six unidentified individuals are currently being sought by the CCSO related to this investigation and further updates will follow.

The following people were also arrested on charges such as violation of probation and failure to appear during the busts:

Jeffery Caudill,39, 916 Oak St. Elizabethton, TN, was arrested and charged with failure to appear, 2 Violations of Probation, and an Attachment for Contempt from Chancery Court.

Timothy Harris 38, 115 Nix Rd. #2, Milligan College, TN, was arrested on a violation of probation and Failure to Appear out of Sullivan County.

Jeremy Sanderlin, 26, 109 Brown Rd., Elizabethton, TN was arrested on a violation of probation out of General Sessions Court and a violation of probation out of Criminal Court.
