Bristol woman takes second prize in Win For Life

Betty Harmon of Bristol, Va. is $52,000 richer today after taking second place in the Virginia Lottery’s Win For Life Game.

According to a press release, when Harmon saw the Nov. 7 Win for Life drawing on television, she immediately called out to her daughter, “I think I won something!“

Harmon’s ticket was a winner indeed, matching five of the first six numbers plus the Free Ball number to win the game’s second place prize.

She claimed her prize at the Lottery’s Customer Service Center in Abingdon, Va.

The winning numbers for that drawing were 4-10-12-16-17-40 and the Free Ball number was 26. She bought the winning ticket at Fas Mart, located at 2581 Kingsmill Pike in Bristol. 
Win For Life offers a top prize of $1,000 per week for the life of the winner. Drawings are held Wednesday and Saturday nights at 11:00.
