The Bristol, Tennessee Police Department has made what they call one of the larger marijuana seizures in the city of Bristol within the last two years.
After the Street Crimes Unit received information about drug trafficking at 188 Springdale Road, they conducted surveillance and undercover buys – allowing them to obtain search warrants.
According to police reports, the warrant was served on June 13 and police say they found nearly 15 pounds of marijuana and $28,000 in cash. They also seized three handguns, three rifles and a shotgun along with two cars.
James Burl Sorah, 41, and Angela “Nikki” Milhorn, 29, both of 188 Springdale Road were arrested and charged with possession of schedule VI over 10 pounds, possession of drug paraphernalia and maintaining a dwelling where drugs are sold.
They are currently in Sullivan County Jail under a bond of $100,000.
According to police, Sorah and Milhorn are suspected of being mid to upper level marijuana dealers.

Ummm…she looks like she has been eating well..and he looks really stressed? But looks CAN be deceiving.
General Lee????
Any comments regarding innocence or guilt due to their looks…
C’mon, don’t keep us in suspense.
Pot users are not “drug addicts” as implied below.
Also, it is a real shame that pot is illegal, and peoples lives have to be ruined over it.
More lives will be ruined by the liquor and beer sold at your local bar than would have been hurt by this 15 pounds of weed . . . except for the fact that pot is illegal.
If pot were legal the number of lives that would be ruined by pot on a daily basis would be just a small percentage as compared to the number of lives that are ruined every day by alcohol.
Keeping pot illegal, while keeping alcohol legal is just not logical. Whatever argument that can be put forth for keeping pot illegal applies many times over to alcohol.
If we are going to continue to make criminals out of pot users then we should do the same for the users of the far more seriously dammaging alcohol. Anything else is hypocracy.
Come on people. It doesn’t matter where exactly in town they lived, or when she graduated high school. And no, you don’t need to know her before you point fingers. There is no way he had 15 lbs of pot in that house and she had no idea about it. They sold drugs. They got busted. Period.
With 15 pounds of pot, this was not a desperate effort to feed the family. Surely being from the “ghetto” you realize you don’t get that big of an operation overnight! 15 pounds is alot of weed! Weed for these people to sell UNTAXED and make a alot of money from. It’s sad that they have public housing and working people who really need housing cant get it, because they’re working. It’s unfortunate that Springdale is full of these characters, but it’s true. I’m glad they’re weeding out those who make dirty money on the side while paying little to no rent. That has been going on long enough
ok…first of all…Springdale village apartments aren’t in Bristol TN…..they are in Bristol VA….and they aren’t on Springdale road…springdale road is off of state street beside king college…so before you say that you feel sorry for those of us that need assisted housing right now…well i say to you that you are ignorant of where you live…i actually feel sorry that you have never had to struggle..or live in the “ghetto”..it made me a stronger person….where have u been in the last 6-8 years or so..don’t you know Bush screwed the country up… some people have to resort to things like this….just to eat at night…times are rough..and good people have to do bad things to make it through…so why don’t ya’ll quit tryna be a judge…i’d rather look down on those CEOs and Execs that are money laundering, and hiding money….those type of people are worse…...........
Pretty much everyone who commented knows nothing about him or what was going on..so before anyone starts pointing the ‘'dirty finger’‘you need to make sure you actually know someone. As far as children and drug choices that is left up to the parents to make sure they do what they are supposed to. Everyone basically sounds ignorant on here, and your proving no point to what your saying. Hes only guilty of selling marijuana if you get addicted to that and it ruins your life you weren’t going anywhere anyway! I mean how many people have DIED from marijuana use!? Why is it a physician practice? Law enforcement needs to worry about deadly drugs instead of marijuana and registered guns. Heres a thought, how long has ‘'ms. milhorn’‘ been out of high school?
I know people that are deacons of a church that have a pill problem and will sell you one if you want. I hope you are right about Ms. M. but you just never know about people…even your own family! Believe me..I definitely know about the family part and it was a total mind blowing surprise!
Who knows what factors are involved in this case? Bottom line is that it is very sad that people in the Tri Cities and surrounding areas must be subjected to this kind of behavior and drug dealing.
Wonder whose kids they helped to become drug addicts! God help people who do this sort of thing.
We must feel compassion but as I have always heard “When you play, you pay.“
i have known ms. millhorn since she was in high school, and have never known her to use or associate with narcotics…... she has worked hard on her education and getting a good paying job, so before anyone points the dirty finger, be real sure she was afilliated with such things.
it is my belief that mr. sorah headed up that operation and ms. milhorne had no prior knowlege of his day to mday operations
