Bristol Police Investigate Home Invasion

Bristol, Virginia police are investigating a home invasion.

It happened on Bandit Road around 11 Thursday night. Police say a resident of the home was awakened by the sound of someone forcing her front door open. The women then found a man standing in her kitchen. She told investigators she shouted at him and that’s when he left.

Police brought in a K-9 unit to search for the man, but were unable to find the suspect.

The woman was not injured in the home invasion.
