Nov. 11
* A Winston Street woman called police at 9 a.m. to report a “car parked on her property for awhile.” She said the house is up for sale, and a person has been pulling their black pickup into the driveway and “sleeping in the truck.”
* A drunken man was spotted “laying out in the rain” at the Commonwealth Avenue Zoomerz about 11 a.m.
* While a Cumberland Street woman was away from home, someone took “her dog and belongings.”
* Police got a call about 11:30 p.m. about a gold Nissan Altima swerving down Lee Highway, in and out of oncoming traffic. The caller told police that the driver, whom they suspected was drunk, was heading toward Walmart. Seventeen minutes later, they called back to say the driver “pulled up into Walmart” then “came out with a case of beer” before heading back onto Lee Highway.

Nov. 10
* The assistant principal at Tennessee High School called police when they discovered someone had “spray painted gang graffiti on the stone castle doors and practice field retaining wall” overnight. They estimated the damage to be $100.
Nov. 12
* An Abbie Lane man reported that several items were stolen from the back of his work truck.
Neighborhood Watch
* The Melvin Hills and Oak Hill Estates Neighborhood Watch will meet at 7 p.m. Monday at the Pleasant View United Methodist Church in Abingdon.
* The Highlander Park Neighborhood Watch will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Noonkester Field Park in Washington County. n The Sandy Ridge Neighborhood Watch will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday at Meade’s Chapel Church in Coeburn.
* Anyone interested in starting a Neighborhood Watch in Bristol, Va., should contact Nicole Slagle, crime prevention coordinator with the Bristol Virginia Police Department, at (276) 645-7281.
