Sept. 16
* A woman called to report that a drunk male friend left a Spencer Street home and was walking down the street at 1 a.m. “Aren’t [you] gonna get him?” she asked police.

* Hundreds of people descended on Andy’s Market for free packs of cigarettes. Some were parking in the Wing Doctor parking lot, and when asked to leave around 11:30 a.m., made threats and cursed at a restaurant worker. An employee at Andy’s Market said Thursday that 600 packs of Tahoes and Bailey’s were handed out to 200 people as part of a promotion.
* A woman arrived at the Police Department at 1:30 p.m. to say that she left her debit card in a bank ATM and an unknown burglar swooped in behind her and took her money.

Sept. 17
* Police were searching Reedy Creek Road for a man wearing nothing but a curly beard. The Washington County Sheriff’s Office told the city Police Department that the man “was originally wearing short shorts and a white T-shirt” before stripping down to nothing. The naked fellow was, according to the Sheriff’s Office, searching for his daughter’s house and “all he knew was that it was somewhere near the golf course.” Bristol police never found him. n A woman applied her makeup at 7:45 a.m. while speeding and tailgating down Lee Highway in a gold Honda.
