Club Beating Victim Dies In Hospital

Johnson City police appear to now have a murder investigation on their hands.
Sgt. Billy Church says the victim of a beating at New Beginnings nightclub early Sunday morning was taken off life-support a short time ago.
Church says that man, James Lewis, was previously listed in serious condition after he was found laying on the ground unconscious at the Bristol Highway nightclub. Church says Lewis died after a fight between two people that turned bad.
Police have not named a suspect in this case.

How in the world can anyone say they were born gay? God made us to be hetersexual and for someone to say they were born gay is just like saying God made a mistake and put you in the wrong body. Well the God I worship and pray to every night does NOT make mistakes. So stop blaming the lifestyle that you CHOSE on the Almighty. He is perfect- unlike all of us -and yes I am included in that category, but the main point of all of this is someone was murdered and the one who did this needs to be caught and put in jail coz one of you “gays” could be next on his list so watch you six!
Seriously people WAKE UP!!!! This is what is wrong with the world today, people thinking they are holier than thou. People need to pay more attention to their own lives, than worrying what someone else is doing. If people would do this, the world would be a lot better place. This is not about if this man was gay or straight, someone was beat to death. I am a gay male and also attend church. Whatever your beliefs are you need to keep them between you and God. This is why there is so much hatred in this world today, people not minding their own business. We all will be judged when we die. I will not be judged for your sins and you will not be judged for mine! I firmly believe that I did not choose this lifestyle, I was born this way. I would not choose a lifestyle that is so hard to understand and to be accepted. So everyone just needs to calm down, focus on what is really important here, and that is finding whoever did this!!!

There are plenty of kids for gays to raise - heterosexuals through away plenty children every day.
However, your comment is not relevant to the fact that a man was found beaten to death. The suspect probably came from a home much like yours and probably holds similar beliefs.
People like you are not worth arguing with. You are judging others and that’s not very christian like of you or anyone else! And that’s not right. God is the only who will decide for each person when their time comes, not yours or anyone else’s. Sleep well tonight after you’ve been on here judging and making your hatred comments and facts.
In response to bboytn and kingsport, I am not judging-just stating a fact. The Bible doe not say spread hatred and bigotry but it does say that homsexuality is an abomination to God. The Bible also says be fruitful and multiply-so tell me how can 2 women or 2 men multiply? I have a son and he feels the same way about gays-not from my teachings but from his own mind. He is very intelligent and we both are Christians who believe the Bible word for word. From your remarks you are have aliitle spite in you too and can not spell very well either.

I do attend church, am baptized and know that God loves me and will welcome me with open arms when I die. I can’t say the same for you who judge and spout hatred and are throwing stones.

Well I hate to tell, they are homesexuals throughout the whole world, they do exsist so get over that buddy. They are some out there that makes it hard for others and has people like feel the way they you do, sorry you feel that way, but it’s everywhere. This should be news, because everyone does need to know what’s going on in our area.
Want a GAY community? Go to San Francisco. Gays are not wanted around here by many. They violate most religious beliefs in the area and are destroying America. America was built on beliefs and traditions and Gays are at the heart of destroying it. Many will NEVER accept this and it sickens me that it exists. All they do is cry about wanting the same rights as normal people. Then be normal! Being gay and lesbial and all the other terms they use is a disgrace to human nature. Why was this even news. This is very sad to hear, I knew evenually something like this would happen at New Beginnings. I use to love to go out to New Beginnings, but over the last 10 years the place has changed so much. I like all the owners and they’ve always be good to be, but it’s always just been about the money for them. This is just not a gay bar anymore. I stopped going when all the straight and young kids started going, because it just wasn’t the same anymore. A gay bar should be for just the gay people in the community, because it’s the only place the gay people can go and be themself in public with their friends. You should be 21 years old, and I feel the straight’s should go their own type of bar. Who really knows if this murder is a hate crime or what. I hope not, but whatever becomes of it, it’s very sad that it happened and it should have never happened. When you mix gay’s, straight, and the younger kids evenually something terrrible is going to happen. I hope they find the person or person’s who done this and they pay. And I hope this crime opens up the eyes of the whole community for all gay people, straight people and the younger generation, and I hope the bar owners open up their eyes and get security back in that bar like it use to be years ago.
