UPDATE: Body Recovered In Nolichucky River In Greene County

Rescue crews recovered a body from the Nolichucky River shortly before 3 p.m. Investigators have confirmed the body was that of Anthony Brad Seaton, 39, of Rheatown, TN.
The body was found near Chuckey Beach off Sand Bar Road.

The Noilchucky river runs right in front of my house and I have seen or known of so many people to die in this river. I live near a place known by the big rock behind the Chucky trading post and this is such a popular swimming place and probably one of the most dangerous. I see people in the river daily and I walk to the river a lot and I enjoy the water and I do get in but I take the river very serious and I know that the river owns me when I’m in the water and that’s why I NEVER go out into deep water ~ I stay closet to he bank, on the rocks, or near the rocks where it isn’t deep.
