Body of Mountain City soldier killed at Fort Hood to return home Sunday

  The body of Spec. Fred Greene will arrive back in the Tri-Cities Sunday morning.
  Spec. Greene, a soldier from Mountain City, was one of the 13 people during the November 5 shootings at Fort Hood.
  Greene’s body is expected to arrive at Tri-Cities Regional Airport in Blountville around 9:00am Sunday.
    Local veterans, friends, and members of the community will gather along the Airport Parkway Sunday morning to show their support, and honor the fallen soldier.
    The funeral home motorcade will travel up Interstate-81 North to Exit 19 in Abingdon and then follow Highway 58 through Damascus to Hux-Lipford Funeral Home at 300 Main Street in Mountain City.
    An Army Spokeswoman says details about visitation and the funeral will be released on Sunday or Monday.
