Badd Boyz find themselves on the other side of the law

An area bonding company is temporarily closing its doors after two of its employees ended up behind bars. Sullivan County deputies first arrested James David Thompson, a former Badd Boyz bond agent, in January after charging him with rape of a child. According to Lt. B.J. Richardson, Thompson returned to jail Saturday for violating his bond contract with his former company.

Tuesday, deputies arrested Jeffrey Wayne Thompson on four counts of theft over $1,000.

Badd Boyz Bonding Company owner Harold Head says the two Thompsons are brothers. According to Head, Jeffrey Thompson is the co-owner of Badd Boyz, but not for much longer, Head says.

On the heels of these arrests, Head says he is temporarily shutting down the Kingsport-based bonding company to restructure the business.
