VIDEO: Boucher Talks About Bailout Plan, Obama

Congressman Rick Boucher spoke Wednesday about the financial crisis and his support of Barack Obama’s plan for the economy.

Boucher was at Emory & Henry College to announce a grant that will help boost the signal strength of the college’s radio station.

Boucher spoke with TriCities.com after the press conference and answered questions about his decision to vote for the $700 billion economic bailout, which was passed by Congress last week.

Boucher, who is running unopposed for reelection in Virginia’s 9th district, also explains why he thinks Obama’s proposed plan for the economy is better than John McCain’s.
