Theatre Bristol Takes 43rd Season ‘Into the Woods’

BRISTOL, Tenn. – The most famous fairy tale characters from the Grimm stories take over the stage of the ARTspace at Theatre Bristol.
From Aug. 1-17, “Into the Woods” will blend familiar fairy tales with the story of a childless baker and his wife, who attempt to reverse a curse on their family in order to have a child.
“Into the Woods” is the first show on Theatre Bristol’s 43rd anniversary season.
The cast includes:
Veteran Theatre Bristol actors: Michael-Thomas Griffith (Baker), Elizabeth Burns (Baker’s Wife), Elizabeth Paxton (Cinderella), Matthew Paessler (Jack), Palmer Cantler (Little Red Riding Hood), Michael Locke (Cinderella’s Prince), Bleu Copas (Wolf), Meaghan Gray (Jack’s Mother), Dianna Cantler (Cinderella’s step-mother), Meglyn Deel (Rapunzel), Richard Opp (Rapunzel’s Prince), Victoria Burnette (steward), Chelsea Burnette (Sleeping Beauty), Nicholas Price (Milky White) and Steve Baskett (Cinderella’s father).
Newcomers include: Rebecca Harris (Witch), Brandon Bentley (Narrator/Mysterious Man), Chelsea Macon (Lucinda), Courtney Harlow (Florinda), Audra Smith (Red Riding Hood’s Grandmother/Cinderella’s mother) and Sarah Bates (Snow White).
Performances are Aug. 1-2, 8-9 and 15-16 at 8 p.m. and Aug. 10 and 17 at 2:30 p.m.
Ticket prices are adults $15; seniors (over 62)/students $12; children (under 12) $8.
