The Teen Department of the Bristol Public Library will be showcasing their art in the Virgie R. Fleenor Art Gallery the entire month of July.

Teens worked on these pieces throughout the month of June as part of the Summer Reading Program.

“Their vibrant and abstract pieces will add something special for people to stop and see at the library,” says Teen Librarian, Tonia Totten. The 2009 Teen Summer Reading Program is appropriately called ‘Be Creative’ and so far, the teens have really enjoyed this year’s programs such as a The Traveling Jones Theater, and are looking forward to taking part in Great Big Faces with Paul Merklein on July 7th.
