O'Mainnin's Pub & Grill, 712 State Street in Bristol, Tenn., offers a bit of everything from great food in a smoke-free environment by day to a threefold entertainment venue by night.
While the downstairs portion is more of a neighborhood pub atmosphere, the upstairs martini loft has, according to owner Dave Manning, "more of an exlucisve feel to it."
"It's a good place to come up and relax," said Manning. "You can be with your wife or your date in more of an intimate setting." Local artists play the loft weekly, including one of the Tri-Cities' favorites, Annie Robinette.
During the winter, Manning said the outdoor tiki bar on Beaver Creek has two fire pits to keep patrons warm, and in the summer it serves as a patio venue for music acts.
Tuesdays welcome local amateur singers and songwriters to show off their talents in the loft, Wednesdays are karaoke nights, and Manning said the weekends bring the rock-and-roll bands, the more "polished" acts, to center stage.
