Bristol’s Rhythm and Roots Reunion, the Birthplace of Country Music Alliance, and the Bristol Public Library present No Speed Limit on Saturday, Nov. 17 at 7:30 p.m. at the Bristol Public Library.

This concert is the first in the Stateline Jamboree concert series, which will feature live music in historic downtown Bristol the third Saturday monthly through April. Tickets for the show are $10, $8 for students/seniors, and will be available at the door.

“We are pleased to be working with the Public Library and the Rhythm and Roots festival to bring music to downtown Bristol,” said Bill Hartley, executive director of the Birthplace of Country Music Alliance. Hartley noted that this show builds upon past partnerships among the organizations to offer programming downtown. The goal of the concert series is to provide live music throughout the year, as well as showcase performers at the annual Rhythm and Roots Reunion festival, for both members of the community and tourists.

The Stateline Jamboree will showcase both the region’s living musical traditions and performers who will or have appeared at the annual Rhythm and Roots Reunion festival.

“We are pleased to be able to kick off this concert series by showcasing our region’s local talent by featuring No Speed Limit,” Hartley said. The series will feature a wide variety of styles, including singer-song writer, bluegrass, Americana, folk, eclectic, and Piedmont blues. Other artists to perform in the series will include The Gary Hensley Band, the Everybodyfields, Adam Larkey & Mountain Time, MSG: the Acoustic Blues Trio, and Diana Jones.
