Blue Plum Festival June 6 & 7

Join us downtown June 6 & 7 for Johnson City’s free, outdoor art and music festival.  Once again the Friends of Olde Downtowne are bringing in some of the best Americana music, including headliners Doc Watson (Friday) and the Subdudes (Saturday) on the main music stage.  And new this year, the Jazz Stage, which will have regional jazz greats both days.  Munsey Church will again be hosting the children’s area with the theme Beach Party.  And the Roan Stage will have family entertainment both afternoons and up and coming local musical acts in the early evenings.  The Animation Festival will be showing short animation entries from around the world in the old JC Penny building both days.  The 5k run/4k walk will be held Saturday morning.  Add in the beautiful arts and crafts and delicious food from our vendors and festival specials offered by most downtown businesses, what’s not to love!
