Outlook: Since the arrival of B.I. Salyers four years ago, the J.J. Kelly Indians have steadily improved each season. In 2004, the Indians were winless (0-10), but by last season the Tribe had regained respectability with a 5-5 campaign. With 12 starters returning from last year’s team there is no reason that Salyers’ Indians shouldn’t continue their upward climb into the LPD elite. Quarterback Matt Dotson at quarterback and will be joined by veterans Jordan Bates and Devan Sproles, the LPD’s leader in scoring last season, in the offensive backfield.
