Coffee Maker Recall

The parent of Sears and Kmart stores recalled 145,000 Kenmore-brand coffee makers.

The manufacturer said the wiring can overheat and cause fires or burns.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission said the recall includes 12-cup Kenmore and Kenmore Elite Coffee Makers sold through Sears, Sears Hardware, and Kmart stores as well as online from August 2007 through April.
