This is a sad day in the history of the Erwin Church of the Brethren and its congregants.  But I know in my heart that the Good Lord will watch over and bless this congregation as they rebuild the Church.

I was deeply saddened to have received the news about the Erwin Church of the Brethern fire.  I would like to say I have had many great memories worshiping with that congregation.  They are good people with compassionate hearts.  I know those hearts are broken but I would like to remind them that the church is not just a building, it is the people.  This church family will survive and grow closer in love.
