Tazewell County Man Killed In Single Vehicle Accident

A single vehicle accident took the life of a Bluefield, Virginia man early this morning.

The Virginia State Police tell us that the fatal accident happened just after 3 a.m. on Route 460 near Industry Road.

VSP says Gregory Franklin Beggs, 41, lost control of his 2007 Subaru Outback as he traveled southbound on Route 460. Police say he ran off of the right side of the road and overcorrected the car, which caused it to roll over several times. Police tell us that Beggs was ejected from the car as it rolled.

VSP says Beggs died at the scene.

Police tell us the accident is cleaned up and traffic is running as normal on Route 460.
