Good luck Todd Malone, Robert Miller, and Irene Wells. Help the other boardmembers make Bluff City a place people would love to live in and business would want to move in and employ the ones who need jobs.

Teacher, Amen to that. I’ve always said that if you didn’t vote then you didn’t earn your right to complain when things don’t go the way you believe they should, so shut-up and take a seat in the back of the room. Isn’t it funny how people will stand in a long line, in a pouring rain, after dark to gripe about something they feel has wronged them but won’t take a little time out of their day, once a year or so, to vote.

It is a sad time when people who are eligible to vote will not go and exercise this great privilege of voting and having an impact on what is going on in our towns, etc.

Millions of dollars will be wasted on “projects” that do not help the middle and lower income people.

I couldn’t vote because I don’t live in the city, but you can bet I would have voted if I could have. I haven’t ever missed voting when I was eligible to vote in an election. I have often said that if they were having an election for a “dogcatcher,“ I would be there to cast my ballot.

If we don’t use it, we’ll lose it!!!! Wake up people!!!
