Unicoi Co., Tenn.—Law enforcement isn’t only there to write tickets and make arrests. The Unicoi County Sheriff’s Department, partnered with the Erwin Elks Club reached out to the community today.  This is the third year of the “Shop with a Cop” program, that gave kids $100 - $50 for new clothes, and $50 for new toys. Deputies walk around the store with the kids, helping them choose items and getting to know each other. The kids shared a pizza party with officers, and got to play with the sheriff department’s youngest canine bloodhound. Click on the icon above to hear from Elks Club member Robert Harris, and Sheriff Kent Harris.
