Renters Arrested for Taking Washer, Dryer, and Kitchen Cabinets

Johnson City police arrested Joey Gardner and Margaret Richmond, both of 241 W. Main St. #11, Johnson City, Monday.
Police say the arrests were the result of an investigation in which Gardner and Richmond allegedly stole property from a residence in which they had been renting. 
The pair reportedly took a washer and dryer as well as kitchen cabinets valued over $1,500 from the residence when they moved out.
Both Gardner and Richmond were charged with Theft of Property over $1,000 and are scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday.
