A manhunt is under way in Wythe County, Va., for a man wanted in what Virginia State Police now call a “crime spree” in the Tri-Cities Region.

According to Virginia State Police Sgt. Michael Conroy, a state trooper and Smyth County officer tried to pull over a suspect in a Marion, Virginia robbery case around 4 a.m. today.  The driver of the white pickup truck pulled off the road and ran, Conroy said.

Police said the man was dressed in all-black military style clothing and was last seen carrying a black duffle bag.

Conroy said the suspect may be linked to an armed robbery at a Roadrunner Market, on Carolina Pottery Drive, in Kingsport that happened around 1:50 a.m. Wednesday.

Makes you think he is not dangerous at all.

Bad grammar?

It appears he would be quoting the VSP description of the man being “dangerous”.  But using that logic, would it not follow that crime spree would also be in quotations in the title, which it is not, as it is directly quoted in the first paragragh from the same source.

I’m no English major…and neither are most of the BHC writers.
