How much is price gouging?

On Sunday in Elizabethton, I paid $4.29 for regular gas at the EXXON on Broad Street.  That’s the first time I’ve ever paid over $4.00 for gas.  All pumps were working and there were no lines.  It looked like business as usual, certainly not like it was on Friday.

Tell me just how gas stations can justify the ridiculous jump in prices, when the gas you are pumping has already been billed at a lower price to the gas station????  It was already in the storage tanks, people!!!! This is just a blatant example of GREED at our expense, as always!  And WE are contributing to it by panicking and swamping the stations.  And, yes, is this not also GREED on our part????

Was wondering if you have heard about General Shale Brick Plant in Kingsport is closing their doors.

I got gas at the Davy Crockett Truck Stop on 9-11-08 regular $3.57 a gal. Today the price is $4.69. These places needs to be fined for this.
