UPDATE: Kingsport Police Release Surveillance Video From Bank Robbery

UPDATE: Kingsport police continue to search for a bank robber.
The robbery happened this morning at Appalachian Community Federal Credit Union on East Stone Drive.
Police say they are looking for a white male between the ages of 25 and 40. Witnesses say he was between 5’9” and 6’1” and weighed between 190 to 230 pounds. He was wearing a blue and red hat, blue jacket, blue jeans, and black tennis shoes.
The man handed a teller a note stating he had a gun and wanted money. The teller then handed over the cash and the man left.
Investigators released surveillance video of the robbery late this afternoon.

The search is underway for at least one bank robber in Kingsport.
Kingsport Police are investigating a bank robbery at the Appalachian Community Federal Credit Union. It happened around 9:30 a.m. at 1500 East Stone Drive. Kingsport investigators are working the scene.
