Washington County Sheriff’s deputies say they seized thousands of dollars in cash during a weekend drug bust.
In a press release today, the Washington County, Tenn. Sheriff’s Office said investigators received tips about the sale of prescription drugs at a home on Butchertown Road in the Fall Branch community.
During a search of the home, investigators found over $35,000 in cash, drug ledgers and loaded firearms.
The two suspects admitted to selling prescription drugs, including Hydrocodone and Valium. Both obtained the prescriptions legally though licensed doctors.
Charges have not yet been filed. The Washington County Sheriff’s Office says the case will be presented to a Grand Jury for consideration for prosecution due to the age of the suspects.

My cousin is a cop in Erwin and it’s hard to believe how many people do this sort of junk. I live in Washington county and I have known of two of my neighbor’s that got busted doing this very same, crazy thing! This is why it’s so hard for honest people that really do need medicine to get it. Doctor’s don’t know which people coming in to their office are really in pain or whatever. They just go by what they are told and they decide by the symptoms given by the patient if they need pills or not. I guess it’s hard for them to know.I think it should be like if a person isn’t dealing with some sort of illness like cancer or whatever that causes real true sickness or pain, then the doctor should just tell the person that wants pain pills or whatever to go to Wal-mart and by themselves a bottle of extra strength Tylenol. Doctor’s are too free to write those prescriptions for just anyone. There is no reasons left to wonder why half ( or more ) of America’s population is hooked on prescription drugs. These meds like this should only be given to people that seriously need them and the doctor should be the one to know. Pills shouldn’t just be given to people with everyday pain~ that’s what over the counter pain medicine is for~ prescription drugs should be given to the SICK!!! People that’s had surgey, fighting cancer, getting teeth pulled,ya know, REAL PAIN!
Get to know your neighbors. Last year we helped a disabled man get his realative out of his house because they were stealing his drugs.
He did not want to call the cops and put his brothers kids in jail.
Wow, Those are some brilliant people. Who keeps a ledger of the drugs they sold?
