I-26 Westbound Re-Open In Unicoi Co.

The westbound lanes of Interstate 26 in Unicoi County are now open again.
Unicoi County dispatchers told us that a tractor trailer was involved in a minor accident last night, when it lost a 36,000-pound piece of steel on the interstate at around 11 p.m.
Dispatchers said the accident caused the closure of both westbound lanes on I-26 between Exits 43 and 40.
Those lanes re-opened around 4:30 a.m.
