Fatal Carter County Motorcycle Crash

The Tennessee Highway Patrol continues to investigate their second fatal motorcycle crash today.

Officers were called to Old Stoney Creek Road just after 1 Saturday afternoon.
THP officials confirmed that the crash was did claim one life, but would not release the victim’s name this evening.

THP officials told us that the driver of the motorcycle was headed northbound when he lost control and veered to the left and hit a tree.
Officers say the victim was ejected from the motorcycle.

THP tells us they’re still working on contacting all the next of kin before further information can be released.
