Mom And Kids Okay After Fall Branch House Fire

A mom and her two kids are all okay after a house fire damaged their home.

The fire happened on the 200 block of Hunt Road near Fall Branch.

Volunteer fire departments from Fall Branch, Gray, and Sulphur Springs responded to the fire at around 10:15 p.m. last night, and they contained the fire to a bedroom and one side of the house.

Fire crews say they believe the blaze started after the mom plugged in a clock, and the outlet started to spark in the home.

I’m so proud to be the wife of a volunteer. It’s a very humbling experience, and makes me so grateful everytime he comes back home after a firecall.
