CoverKids representatives will be answering questions about the program during a live call-in event Saturday, Sept. 6 from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Parents call call 1-866-576-0028 to find out if their children qualify for free, comprehensive health insurance coverage and to get help with the CoverKids application process.

Parents will need to have annual income information and the Social Security number for each child they want to enroll in CoverKids.

A family of four earing $53,000 a year or less may quality for CoverKids.  Once enrolled, these families pay no monthly premiums for coverage.  Doctor visits range for $5 to $15, general medications cost as little as $5 and there are no co-pays for immunizations, routine well-exams, labs or x-rays.  Families above the household incomes limit can pay $225 a month for each child they want to enroll.  CoverKids insurance does not have deductibles.
