The Bristol, Tennessee Police Department has made what they call one of the larger marijuana seizures in the city of Bristol within the last two years.

After the Street Crimes Unit received information about drug trafficking at 188 Springdale Road, they conducted surveillance and undercover buys – allowing them to obtain search warrants.

According to police reports, the warrant was served on June 13 and police say they found nearly 15 pounds of marijuana and $28,000 in cash. They also seized three handguns, three rifles and a shotgun along with two cars.

James Burl Sorah, 41, and Angela “Nikki” Milhorn, 29, both of 188 Springdale Road were arrested and charged with possession of schedule VI over 10 pounds, possession of drug paraphernalia and maintaining a dwelling where drugs are sold.

They are currently in Sullivan County Jail under a bond of $100,000.

According to police, Sorah and Milhorn are suspected of being mid to upper level marijuana dealers.

I have not checked my e-mails in a while so I am a bit behind here but I am sure this is still being buzzed about.
I made a comment on here and have been accused of being judgmental….I will apologize for that as I am NOT a member of the bar or a sworn judge…so we can let the LEGAL persons take care of the judging. The only finger being pointed is the one on the long end of law enforcement arms….Yes, drug abusers CAN say NO…but so can judges and law enforcement. NO WE WILL NOT TOLERATE this in our city. Yes, there are many others out there selling it/doing drugs. This is the VERY reason this arrest is a GOOD thing…..we may not stop it all but one more off the street is one more down the drain. All of you being these peoples “gung-ho” friends need to wake up and realize one of two things: 1) Your source has dried up and 2)No one in your immediate family has suffered the consequences of having a family member ADDICTED to a drug and wishing that their supplier(s) would rot in h—-.
I sincerely hope these people make their futures better than their past and my “judgmental self” wishes them a much better life when they get out of this mess.

i agree with cardiogirl… nikki is a friend indeed, she dosent need to be crucified on the newspaper website, she needs the support of as amny friends and family she can.
he without sin can cast the first stone.
and before you take up your stone, take a long hard look in the mirror,
and ask yourself “ what would jesus do??“

First of all what does appearance have to do with being guilty?  And to poke fun at the situation is just stupid.  This is serious, this is peoples futures we are talking bout here!  Nikki is a GOOD person.  We have been friends for 20 years.  She would give you the last dollar she had if you needed it.  Whether she was invloved or not, she needs support to move forward.  EVERYONE has done something in there life that they are not proud of.  Those who say they haven’t are hypocrits!  Its the tri cities for gods sake your grandmothers are probably dealing drugs.  And how many pill heads do you know?  Bascially, this is happening all around your precious town, so don’t scrutinize the ones who actually get caught doing it!  Yes it was wrong now move on!  P.S.  The certain news anchor who went to school with Ms. Milhorn is proof that people with issues of this matter can move on!

you are very right whitebobbyjr user, you can just say no, and by the way “myesme” jim and nikki do NOT need you to put them down they are in jail so when you get off work take a bath and eat, do pray for them and don’t comment on the bad they did, god loves them the same as anyone good or bad, you need to put down the people that did not say no, and leave jim and nikki alone, they did wrong, but if you judge them you are no BETTER- “”“"myesme”“”“”

Helped a lot of people do what? Make money selling this stuff? Smoke more dope?I may have did things “wrong” in my life but I have NEVER-knowingly-did it to be harmful to anyone else health or well being (even one’s I would have wanted to or who deserved it). This is simply one more drug bust that puts more of the crap off the streets. Will it stop it….no but these people need to understand that their neighbors and family members of the persons they aid in their drug habits are fed up with this.
Yes, I will pray for them. I will pray that they LEARN a lesson from these charges and the consequences of them.

This is crazy! Why do people get themselves mixed up into junk like this to begin with? It isn’t the only way to make a living~ there are things called jobs!!! I have had friends of mine say that it was the only way that they could make any good money buy dealing in pills and stuff~ to me that’s just a big fat excuse to keep from having to get up, get out and WORK !! I wish nothing bad on anyone BUT for all those out there dealing in any kind of drugs, either buying or selling, I am pleased when they are caught and punished. There is no good reason behind stuff like this.

I went to highschool with nikki. She is a decscent person. They are not living in springdale government apartments. There is a springdale road in blountville. She has a good paying job and no kids. So before everyone starts judging her stop and take a walk in her shoes you dont know the situation behind it. One of the news reporters on channel 5 also graduated highschool with us but she wouldnt look down her nose long enough to give anyone time of day why not interview her she can tell you all about it.
