The Firehouse Restaurant in Johnson City has been serving great food for 29 years.
Tom Seaton is owner and operator of the Firehouse.
“What we offer is great barbeque and great service. The cornerstone of our business is the great people that work here. We have great food, but really what I think brings people in here is the service and the great people we have working here,“ Seaton said.
They also have homemade side items and desserts. But there’s one thing that makes the Firehouse restaurant so unique. It’s located inside a former fire station.
“The Walnut Street fire station was built in 1930 and we were fortunate enough to buy it in 1980 and opened as Buckwood’s Firehouse barbeque and of course we have gone through some changes and editions, but at this point we just call it the Firehouse and just serve great food,“ said Seaton.
The Firehouse also offers catering for a large event, company picnic, or even a small board meeting.
