According to Lebanon principal Tony Dodi, Phil Henley was appointed as the new head football coach for the Pioneers during a meeting of the Russell County School Board Thursday night.
Henley is a former head coach at Lebanon, guiding the Pioneers to the Hogoheegee District title and Region C Division 2 finals in 2004. Lebanon (10-2) lost to Giles in that regional title game at Harry Stuart Field.
