For the second straight year, the ETSU baseball team has placed a member of its squad on the Louisville Slugger All-American First Team as junior Bo Reeder (Cookeville, Tenn.) was selected as a utility player, announced Collegiate Baseball on Thursday.

Reeder had a sensational season hitting .316 with 16 doubles, 15 home runs and 59 RBI as a third baseman, and also shattered the Atlantic Sun single season saves record after posting a nation-best 18 saves as a closer.

On the mound, Reeder was phenomenal converting on 18 of 19 save opportunities while recording a 1.95 ERA and limiting opponents to a .165 batting average. The two-way standout also struck out 32 batters in 27.2 IP and allowed a run in only four of his 24 appearances.

The junior joins Paul Hoilman (Johnson City, Tenn.) as the only two Buccaneers to be named to the Louisville Slugger All-American First Team. Reeder is also the second ETSU player to earn the utility distinction along with Caleb Moore who was named a Third Team utility player in 2004.
