Virginia High 6, Honaker 0
Behind two goals apiece from Ben Birchfield and Gray Mumpower, Virginia High rolled to a win over Honaker in the quarterfinals of the Region D tournament. Zack Dean and Dalton Rhinehart also scored goals for the Bearcats, while goalkeeper Devon Clayton posted the shutout.

Virginia High 3, Lee High 0
Ashley Cunningham, Grayson Collins and Delaney Richard each had goals as Virginia High blanked Lee in the quarterfinals of the Region D tournament.
Kaitie Crawford posted the shutout in goal for the Bearcats.
Region IV
Tunstall 3, Richlands 2
Tunstall senior Maggie MacLeish made sure the Trojans lived to play at least one more day, tying the game with less than 15 minutes remaining, then faking a kick that threw the Richland wall off-balanced enough for leading scorer Courtney Mustain to clear the wall, as well as Richland goalkeeper Brittany Dye, as Tunstall defeated Richlandsin sudden death Tuesday in the tournament quarterfinals.
A goal by Richland’s Cassidy Richardson at the 15:37 mark in the first half didn’t faze the Trojans as Mustain tied the game at one in the 23rd minute on an assist from junior Kara Dafin.
Salem 3, Graham 2
The Salem Spartans edged Graham in the Region IV quarterfinals at East River Soccer Complex .
The score was tied 1-1 at halftime. Liz Workman of Graham tied the match again at 2-2 with 26:38 remaining, but Kim Elmore got the final goal of the day only 64 seconds later.
