Tennessee linebacker Nick Reveiz said
he's coming to peace with an injury that ended his season last
weekend but knows it will be a long recovery.
The junior tore a ligament in his right knee and will undergo
surgery in the coming weeks to repair it.
Reveiz worked his way into the starting middle linebacker role,
which serves as a kind of quarterback for the defense, after
walking on with the Volunteers as a freshman.
He said Tuesday that he has cried several times since Saturday
because he has so much passion about football.
Reveiz says he's turned to his faith in God to help him come to
terms with the injury. He says, "I've just got to find my pleasure
in the Lord," Reveiz said. "That's really who I live for. I don't
live to be a football player, even though I love it and I have a
lot of passion for it."
