According to a report on the Tennessean newspaper's website, Tennessee Titans coach Jeff Fisher will announce later today that Vince Young will start against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday. Fisher has resisted starting Young, despite the team's 0-6 start. Owner Bud Adams has voiced his opinion that he wanted to see Young take over under center immediately. The Titans' number 1 draft pick from 2006 has played little since the team's opening game in 2008. Kerry Collins led the team to a 13-3 record last year, with the Titans falling to the Baltimore Ravens in the divisional round of the playoffs. So far this season, Young is 0-5 passing with an interception.
