Current NASCAR Sprint Cup point leader Tony Stewart realizes just how valuable tickets are to the Sharpie 500 at Bristol Motor Speedway. That’s why he stopped by the World’s Fastest Half-Mile Thursday, July 30.
Stewart not only was in the Speedway ticket office, helping sell some of the few remaining tickets to NASCAR’s most popular race, but some fans also can look forward to getting a little something extra from him upon purchasing tickets. Stewart has some of his own Sharpie 500 tickets that he gave away to a few lucky fans that afternoon.
“This Night Race at Bristol is one of the greatest races anywhere for fans to be part of and there aren’t many tickets left for it,” said Stewart. “I wanted to come meet some of the fans who were going to be lucky enough to get some of the last ones.
“I’ve also got a few tickets of my own so I’m going to pick out a few fans that day and let them see the race on me.”
