-The best high school swimmers in Northeast Tennessee competed inside Viking Hall on Saturday. Science Hill swept the boys and girls competition.
-The Vols lost a heartbreaker to in state rival Memphis 54-52. It's the Vols final non-conference game of the year. The loss also snaps a two game win streak over Memphis.
-Tusculum took a pair of wins over Wingate on Saturday. The mens record is now 4 and 3 in the South Atlantic Conference. The women are ranked 8th in the country. Senior Ashley Oliver is just 37 3 pointer field goals shy of the National Divsion 2 Career record.
-Local Boxing Phenom Charlie Watson headlined a Johnson City Athletic Club boxing card on Saturday. The event was held at David Crockett High School. The school Watson attends. He earned a 3 round unanimous decision. Watson headlines a card at Brooks Gym in Johnson City on February 14th.
