This weekend felt more like spring than February.
After last week's snow days, kids got another treat - play time at the parks.
Sunday afternoon, the traveling softball team, "The Heat," had their first practice at Kiwanis Park in Johnson City.
They were supposed to practice for weeks, but cold weather held them back.
The coaches took it easy on the ten and under team for their first time running the bases this year.
The girls look forward to spring sunshine, but haven't had enough winter, yet. They say they're hoping for more snow days.
