Local Little League umpire John Mashburn will become only the 3rd Tennesseean to umpire at the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. Masburn was honored at the Opening Ceremonies of the Johnson City Little League season. In his 37 year career Mashburn has never accepted a paycheck.
