They are known as the "first couple of Nitro Racing" and this weekend they'll make a stop in Bristol for the O'Reilly Thunder Valley Nationals.
NHRA Funny Car driver Melanie Troxel and Tommy Johnson are not only husband and wife, they also race against each other.
But that wasn't always the case. Last year, Troxel was in Top Fuel.
With the couple racing for the same prize each week, they say things can get interesting when it comes to wins.
"I can't win. If I beat her, I'm sleeping on the couch because I beat her." Johnson said, "If I lose, I'm sleeping on the couch because I'm a loser."
Johnson is currently 17th in points, while his wife Melanie is 20th.
The O'Reilly Thunder Valley Nationals get underway Friday, May 16th.
