ST. PAUL DEACONS
Coach Mark Palmer
St. Paul High School
Outlook: Just seven starters return from last season’s Cumberland District championship squad for St. Paul. The good news is that one of those returnees is quarterback Tyler Phillips. The 6-foot-4, 185-pound junior enters this third season as a starter and displays a strong arm. Dallas Hileman, Corey Ellis and Dakota Smith should also play starring roles. If St. Paul can overcome its inexperience and a young line can offer protection for Phillips, the Deacons can make another run at the district title.
