Outlook: The Vikings finished third in the Lonesome Pine District last season and should finish there again this year, behind Clintwood and J.I. Burton. Replacing quarterback Cedric Mitchell, who graduated, will not be easy. But veteran coach Phil Robbins has enough talent to guide his team to the playoffs, while the Vikings’ running game should give the rest of the Lonesome Pine District fits.
