Outlook: After years of being overshadowed by All-State quarterback Ethan Stewart, it’s finally time for the Raider defense to get some pub. Led by senior middle linebacker Will Godsey, the Raiders have All-District talent returning at each level of the defense: senior Coty Brummette on the line, Godsey at linebacker and senior Jaycob Coleman in the secondary. But that’s not to say that the departure of Stewart leaves the offensive cupboard bare. Stewart’s heir is still uncertain, but with Martinez Miles and Jaycob Coleman returning to the backfield whoever Coach Adams tabs as the quarterback won’t have much heavy lifting to do.
