The Greenwave claimed the VHSL Region D, Division 1 title last season, and finished one win and 10 points away from a state championship. This year, the state title should again be within Clintwood’s reach. Senior quarterback Heath Counts and senior running back Chris Robinson lead a talented, strong and confident squad that will spell major trouble for its Lonesome Pine District opponents.
