The Tennessee primary is a little more than a month away and a new law went into effect this year that requires voters to present federal or state photo identification before voting.
Officials at the Washington County, Tennessee Division of Motor Vehicles office says, the Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security projected issuing more than 24,000 photo I.D.’s to people who didn't have them.
As of Thursday, the state of Tennessee had issued more than 12,500 photo's for voting purposes.
